Saturday, July 11, 1:00-3:00pm - The Paper is the Painting by Susan Olson at Santa Fe Store. Colored paper pulps are applied to a screen and shaped into an image. Suzanne plays with cotton canvas to show what new applications are possible. Fabric plus dyes, and anything goes! Suzanne will create mixed media collage effects using Pebeo Pigments on canvas. Jack Richeson Signature Brushes
"Signature" brushes are handmade with quality bristle from China. The interlocked bristle is set in polished, seamless ferrules and carefully fitted to long, black lacquered handles.
Kolinsky Oil Brushes
Very few companies today manufacture a pure Kolinsky Sable brush for oils. Hair for this brush comes from the most Northern areas of Russia. It is the finest and most expensive hair used in brush making. When using hair of this quality, Jack Richeson uses only the finest and most skilled brush makers.
